A Message from your chairman

Welcome to the Creek County Republican Party website. While you are here, we invite you to browse the site and familiarize yourself with who we are and what we are trying to accomplish. As a party, we are committed to a platform that vigorously promotes faith in God, supports the traditional family, and upholds the principles of limited government and personal responsibility. With former President Ronald Reagan, we proclaim “our dedication to keeping this a land of

liberty and justice for all, and through our deeds and actions, to ensure that this country remains a bastion of freedom, the last best hope for mankind.” It is to this end that we look to the past to reclaim our heritage and to the future to find our destiny. So we have dedicated ourselves to our God and our country, as we affirm the words in the Declaration of Independence “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

When describing his vision of the shining city on a hill in his farewell speech on January 11, 1989, Ronald Reagan remarked: “But in my mind it was a tall proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, wind-swept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace, a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity, and if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That's how I saw it and see it still.” The formation of this city begins on the city, county, district, and state level. That’s where and how we make a difference. We are proud to report that we have had a tremendous impact on the political process in Creek County, for we elected for the first time a Republican representing District 30 in the State House of Representatives and a Republican House Speaker from District 29. Although the 2006 midterm elections were not as successful as we had hoped, we are undaunted, for we know our cause is right and our devotion to the republic runs deep.

We encourage you to become an active volunteer in our organization. You can be involved in a number of ways—making phone calls, doing mailings, going door-to-door, making literature drops, placing yard signs, and working information booths. Also, your much-needed donations enable us to develop, print and mail literature as well as cover costs of special guest speakers, meeting places, and conventions.
